What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

Ever since I was a kid I’ve been playing football, I was built for this lifestyle since I was young. My family is well known in this world, I’m just the next to carry this last name in the game of football.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

A couple of my favorite football moments is winning the pinstripes bowl, beating Wisconsin in 2024, Colorado in 2024, and the Michigan state game.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to be respected for the way I play and create in this life of football. I want to be considered one of the best to play.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who would it be?

I would have to say Sean Taylor.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My dad. Played in the league for years and is respected for it. He taught me how to be a man and more.

What is your favorite defensive scheme and why?

I like all defensive schemes. My skillset is I am smart enough and versatile enough to play multiple positions.

What should we know about Javin Wright the person?

I am a very optimistic leader, I know how to look at life in a lens of dramatic optimism.

What stands out about your film the most?

The way I get to the ball and the way I make plays. I affect every aspect of the game and am very smart the way I play.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the field?

I’ve been through several challenges in my life and career. I have a what’s next mentality and have optimism amongst chaos. Those combined get me through any challenges that may arise.

What would a team get in a player like you?

Not only do they get an athlete that can do it all and has capacity to learn at a fast rate, they get a leader that is coachable, mature, and a team player.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

It’s the best team sport and the physicality of the game.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with?

The most underrated player I have played with is Omar Brown.
