Karim Adeyemi Foundation Partners with SkillNG for IDSDP Essay Competition 2026

Karim Adeyemi Foundation (KAF) is proud to announce her partnership with SkillNG as an educational and development technical partner for the 2026 edition of the International Day of Sports for Development and Peace (IDSDP) Essay Competition.

This collaboration is meant to further support winners of the Competition, students from public senior secondary schools in Ibadan to prepare for life after secondary education in a digitalised world. Whether furthering to higher institutions or venturing into other paths, this initiative ensures they are stepping forward with relevant, future-ready skills.

Through this partnership, SkillNG will provide full digital skill acquisition scholarships to the top winners of the competition, offering access to career paths in Data, Design, and other tech fields with rigorous and expert led training.

In addition participants of the competition from SS2 and SS3 will attend a free specialized masterclass session, specially designed for their educational stage and carefully curated by SkillNG to equip them with the knowledge and perspective needed to thrive in today’s digital world as a Teenager.

Upon completion of both the Training and Mastercass, participants will receive joint KAF and SkillNG certification, adding meaningful value to their academic and professional journeys.

This essay competition is proudly supported by Polaris Bank, a longstanding KAF partner in IDSDP, who will continue their consistent support over the years by providing learning resources for all students of the STAGE 2 CBT of the KAF IDSDP Essay Competition. They will alo handle the creation of bank accounts for the winners, where their prize money will be securely and exclusively deposited, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The next phase of the competition, the CBT round, will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan. The program will conclude with an award ceremony in May 2026, where winners and outstanding participants will be formally recognized and institutionalised into the KAF Scholars Community.
