Pig & Horse Productions Team Launch Social & AI-Focused Naru Force Studios

EXCLUSIVE: The team that last year launched Pig & Horse Productions have co-founded a Monaco-based media and tech business, Naru Force Studios.

Salla Kozma is behind Naru Force, again partnering with Beatrice Rossmanith of Mothership and former Fremantle Finland development chief Anssi Rimpelä. The trio worked together on Pig & Horse, which Salla founded last year.

Naru Force will focus on developing “social-first formats, owned platforms, and AI-assisted content ecosystems,” and create unscripted formats and IP for emerging streaming apps, creator platforms and social media distribution. AI tools will be integrated “to optimise workflows across the development, production, and brand-matching processes.”

The first format from the company will be K-pop-themed, and launch across social channels before an in-app debut follows. Details on the format were scarce.

The business will operate alongside Pig & Horse, which is a more traditional production company and will continue to focus on developing high-end docs and unscripted formats for linear networks.

Conversely, Naru Force will look to create formats with inbuilt e-commerce, creator partnership and branded entertainment integrations. The plan is to monetize through advertizing, licensing, live commerce and direct-to-consumer deals.

Rossmanith will oversee distribution strategy, while Rimpelä will use experience in creating formats for the likes of AwesomenessTV, Red Bull Media House and Magnify Media.

Naru Force will treat 2026 as a proof of concept year, investing in its core platform, operating system and AI tech infrastructure ahead of a funding round the following year.

Kozma said: “The media industry is shifting from broadcaster commissioning to platform-first and self-commissioned IP. With Naru Force Studios, we are building ecosystems, not single or standalone shows. Each format is designed to cultivate long-term audiences and create sustainable commerce opportunities.

“Pig & Horse remains central to our premium documentary slate, while Naru Force Studios expands our vision into a scalable, tech-enabled model that reflects how modern audiences engage and shop. We are uniting production, distribution, technology, and commerce into one vertically integrated ecosystem.”
