Season 18 marks the debut of Quiksilver and DC Shoes

WEBWIRE

Ubisoft and Authentic Brands Group (Authentic), a leading sports, media, entertainment and lifestyle platform, announced a partnership to bring Authentics renowned action and outdoor sports brands into Riders Republic, Ubisofts massive open world extreme sports video game.

Starting with Quiksilver and DC Shoes, the collaboration will span three seasons with exclusive in-game gear, toys, and apparel and with each integration, bring bespoke collections crafted specifically for the Riders Republic community.

This collaboration reinforces Riders Republics commitment to delivering a dynamic and evolving player experience, said Alexandre Enklaar, Riders Republic Live Producer at Ubisoft Annecy. Aligning seasonal content with the energy and identity of each brand supports rich seasonal storytelling, celebrates the diversity of action sports, and unlocks new opportunities for fans to engage with the brands that inspire them.

Quiksilver and DC Shoes have long been embedded in the culture of action and outdoor sports, and Riders Republic offers a natural extension of that world, said Brett Glauser, VP of Brand, Action and Outdoor Sports at Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Quiksilver and DC Shoes brands. Partnering with Ubisoft allows us to bring these brands into an immersive environment where players can experience the style, attitude, and energy of action sports in new ways.

Available today, Season 18 players can equip their riders with gear items inspired by each brands newest catalogs:

Quiksilver

  • Two new outfits from Quiksilvers new collection, inspired by the brands surf heritage and laid-back coastal style, perfect for riders to catch some rays.

  • One Quiksilver surfboard that makes it easy for players to take on any challenge while snow surfing.

DC Shoes

  • One full DC branded outfit that players can take for a spin on their dirt bikes or a multitude of toys.

  • Two Riders Republic-exclusive gear items designed in collaboration with DC:

A DC variant BMX bike for riders to stack up plenty of grinds and half-pipe rides with.

The DC Pockett Bike X, a brand‑new, never‑before‑seen toy debuting in the game. Built for pulling off ridiculous tricks and over-the-top lines, this toy has fresh variants including Blue Steel, available to unlock for free at Tier 20 of the Season Progression.

Additional brands from the Authentic portfolio will be introduced in future seasons, including Roxy, Volcom, Element, and more.

Season 18 also brings back the Rabbid Hunter event, running from April 1-8. This event challenges players to track down Rabbids in Camp Curry to earn exclusive rewards. Mass races also return this season, with competitions running on April 1, April 22, May 13, and June 3.

Also arriving is a fresh new look to the Toys & Careers in-game store in Riders Republic, making it smoother and more intuitive. For the first time, players can try out toys from the store for free, letting them ride with confidence and discover new gameplay experiences.

In addition, an update to skateboards makes flip tricks feel more precise and responsive than ever. Players can push the trigger all the way for faster board rotation, or ease into it with a lighter press for smoother, slower spins. They now wield greater control to dial in their style.

Players can enjoy an improved Season Progression track this season, where early tiers will be faster to clear and the higher levels will challenge them to put in more time and dedication. Competing the progression will unlock the wild new toy, the Pockett Bike X Blue Steel, with 1,300 stars.
