India’s healthcare delivery system may be on the cusp of a structural reset, with drones and digital infrastructure emerging as the new backbone of cost-efficient care.

A pilot led by Narayana Health in partnership with Bengaluru-based drone manufacturer Airbound moved at least 40 diagnostic samples using more than 700 flights over 54 days across a 4-km aerial corridor in Bengaluru, completing each trip in about 10 minutes and recording zero failures.
