Bayern Munich stumbled to a draw against Leverkusen, despite receiving two red cards and having multiple goals disallowed. Speaking after the game, head coach Vincent Kompany celebrated the team’s effort while expressing how unfair some of these decisions were.

“I’m incredibly proud of the team’s mentality today. Many things happened, there were phases where you could have different opinions, and which influenced the game. We got a red card [Jackson] out of nowhere. No discussion about that,” said Kompany (as captured via @iMiaSanMia). “However, there’s discussion about Lucho’s red card. I can’t understand it. I’m proud of the team, but unhappy with some of the decisions. Regarding Jonathan Tah’s goal, what should he do? The ball bounced off his arm into his foot, there was no movement. If you played football you know what I’m talking about. As for Harry’s goal, I can’t understand it either. For me it was a clear goal. I don’t know what he should do. As I said, I’m proud but there were situations where we can have different opinions.”

Kompany is absolutely spot on and has every right to be angry at the way the game panned out, to little fault of the team. What do you think about Kompany’s analysis? Do you agree? Tell us everything you thought about the game in the comments below!
