Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has confirmed he is open to joining any club, either in South Africa or abroad, following his departure from Chippa United, Soccernet.ng reports.

The former Katsina United goalkeeper said he has placed no restrictions on his next move as he begins life as a free agent.

The 29-year-old admitted that, despite speculation linking him with several clubs across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, he is yet to receive any concrete offers.

Nwabali stressed that he remains focused on finding the right sporting project rather than rushing into a decision.

“I can play anywhere I want to play, there is no restriction,” Nwabali said on Sports Nights Amplified With Andile Ncube. “I am open to any club, local or international.”

Kaizer Chiefs have been mentioned as a possible local destination in South Africa. Outside the country, the Nigerian goalkeeper has also been linked with Moroccan side Raja Club Athletic, Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq, and English Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.

While a move within Africa would still offer competitive football, a switch to QPR would represent the highest level among the reported suitors and could provide Nwabali with an opportunity to test himself in European football.

Despite the growing list of clubs linked with him, Nwabali revealed that no official approaches have been made so far.

“There are no calls yet. The only calls are from my family and friends and people who are shocked at the news,” he said.

The former Chippa United shot-stopper is now expected to carefully weigh his options in the coming weeks as he looks to secure a new club to keep fit ahead of the Super Eagles’ 2026 matches.
