My people, the news wey dey come from Kano no be beans o! The Kano State Police Command don drop serious gbedu talk say dem don ban all dis fireworks and bangers wey we sabi as ‘knockouts’ for this New Year celebration wey dey come. Dis matter no go sweet for some people, but make we shine our eyes, na security matter we dey talk about here!

CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the PPRO, bring dis bad news after wetin dem call a security meeting, wey CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori lead go. E say na so dem fit make everywhere safe during the festive period. Dem don gather for December 29 to brainstorm on how everybody go enjoy the New Year without wahala. No bangers and no fireworks, my people!

According to di police, di restriction no be to spoil our fun, but to avoid unnecessary panic wey fit happen when everywhere dey scatter with sound. Dem don already start to put ‘adequate security arrangements’ plus patrolling everywhere, especially for public places wey people dey gather for the celebration. Dem dey ready to give us show wey no go get wahala!

Dem talk say dem go dey do round-the-clock patrols, so even if you waka enter street at 2am, no need to fear, you fit see police dey for your area. E no go too much, na as dem dey shout say, ‘better arrangement dey in the place!’ Dis na serious matter wey all of us suppose take seriously to keep the bad guys for corner!

CP Bakori even hail all di officers wey show their strength during di last Christmas. E talk say dem don do well before, but dem need step up their game more for dis New Year. Na your safety we dey talk about here, my brothers and sisters!

Dem don also remind us say, make we dey vigilant. If you see anything wey dey suspicious, no keep quiet o! Report am sharp sharp, if you no know wetin to do, just waka go nearest police station or call di emergency lines wey dem don provide. No try to play hero; safety na priority!

For people wey dey ride horse during festive period, make you shine your eye well well; e don turn illegal under dis new rule. Na only wahala you go find if you try am. Buhari wan enter new year with peace and prosperity; no be mess wey we wan bring come, abeg!

So, as dem wish all of us a peaceful New Year, make we ready to jolly, but make we no forget say security no be joke. Una go spend di new year with joy; just follow di rules, and everything go dey alright!
