Jeremiah Williams, DT, Jackson State | 2026 NFL Draft Prospect Zoom Interview

Jeremiah Williams has been a cornerstone of Jackson State’s defensive front and enters this season’s draft as one of the top HBCU prospects. A two-time FCS Football Central All-American and the 2024 Cricket Celebration Bowl Defensive MVP, Williams built an impressive résumé over 48 career games with 39 starts. His production reflects both consistency and impact, totaling 170 tackles, 23 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks, while routinely drawing double teams from opposing offensive lines.

On the field, Williams is a strong, explosive, and technically sound defensive tackle who excels as a dominant gap defender. He anchors the interior with power and leverage, disrupting the run game and supplying reliable interior pass rush. A scheme-diverse and experienced defender, he has proven capable of operating in multiple fronts and roles. His performance played a significant role in two SWAC championships and an HBCU national title, reinforcing his value as a reliable, physical, and battle-tested interior defensive lineman at the next level. Williams is expected to participate in this season’s HBCU Legacy Bowl on February 21, 2006 at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, LA.
