Two Georgia Bulldog Football Players Arrested for Stealing from Walmart

The shoplifting cases involving two Georgia Bulldogs football players were resolved earlier this week following a hearing related to a pretrial agreement, according to a report by The Athens Banner-Herald.

The incident occurred in December 2025 and involved University of Georgia freshmen Bo Walker and Dontrell Glover, who were arrested after allegedly attempting to leave a local Walmart without paying for merchandise valued at more than $100.

According to the incident report, Walker and Glover were stopped by store staff after exiting the self-checkout area with approximately 13 cleaning and household items. The recovered items reportedly included paper towels, foam plates, various Febreze products, napkins, sugar, and bread.

Both players told authorities they did not intend to steal and said they lost track of which items had been scanned while using the self-checkout line.

Under the terms of the pretrial agreement, Walker and Glover are required to complete a theft awareness class, perform 30 hours of community service, and serve a six-month probation period. In addition, both players have been barred from Walmart locations until further notice.
