Record Serie A Champions Juventus have reached an agreement to sign highly-rated English-Nigerian attacker Justin Oboavwoduo from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Bianconeri endured a relatively quiet January transfer window, but with the deadline fast approaching, the club are looking to reinforce multiple areas of the squad.
Bayern Munich youngster Adin Licina was the first signing for Spaletti’s side, before Jeremie Boga followed from OGC Nice. Both deals are expected to be announced later today.

Born in Manchester to Nigerian parents, Oboavwoduo joined Manchester City’s academy at just eight years old and steadily progressed through the ranks. His consistent development earned him a promotion to the club’s U-21 side in 2023.
This season, the teenager has played 18 games across all competitions for City’s Youth setup, scoring six goals and registering five assists.

Oboavwoduo is known for his pace, close control, and intelligent movement. While he is most comfortable playing as a central striker, he can also operate effectively on either wing or just behind the forward line.
The teenager is expected to begin his journey with Massimo Brambilla’s Juventus Next Gen side, where he will gain his first taste of Italian football in Serie C, and hopefully mature with time to feature for the first team.

While his openness to playing for the Nigerian National team is currently unknown, Obaovwoduo has represented England at every tier, from the U-15 team to the U-20.
