AFCON 2025

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will play today’s match for the 2025 AFCON semi‑final against Morocco without captain, Wilfred Ndidi who was suspended for card accumulation.

Ndidi picked up yellow cards in the Round‑of‑16 win over Mozambique and again in the quarter‑final victory against Algeria, triggering an automatic one‑match ban.

He was cautioned in the 67th minute of the match against Algeria for time‑wasting, and although he was later substituted due to a hamstring concern, the suspension stands regardless.

The match will begin by 9pm Nigerian time.
