What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

As a younger guy I played almost every sport there is and football was the one that just stuck out the most to me and I was very good at so as I did more research on it and started watching it, I then decided this sport was for me.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I would say this past year when my team that was just 4-6 last year, went 11-2 this year and went to the 2nd round of the playoffs with me additionally leading the NAIA in rushing yards and touchdowns and all of the accolades that came along with it.

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

Getting signed to the NFL and earning a spot on a team fulfilling a childhood dream and also one day winning a super bowl.

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

If I could hangout with any player past or present it would have to be Barry Sanders just so I can ask him how was he able to make those cuts he use to make and make something out of nothing.

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

My mom because for a while it was just me and her and as a kid seeing her make the sacrifices she made for us to get what we needed and take us where we needed was really inspiring to see if she can do anything on her own and work things out so can I.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I would say spread and zone run schemes because spread allows more points to be on the board and allows everyone to eat and zone run because of course I’m a running back but also that’s one of the ways I play.

What should we know about Destynd Loring the person?

What people should know about me is that I’m a God fearing man, I love my family, I’m a quick learner and good listener and will be there for anyone if they need me.

What stands out about your film the most?

The thing that stands out the most about my film is how I can make something out of nothing and how I can bring electricity to the game by making just one play and I’m very physical and agile to be all of 5’ 7”.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I pray and listen to gospel music to get me out of my rough and challenging days because the Lord can bring you out of any situation that your in.

What would a team get in a player like you?

They would get a hard worker, a competitor, a quick learner, and someone that is coachable and eager to get out there and make plays.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

The connections and people you meet along the way throughout your football career and how those teammates, opponents, etc can soon become friends, advocates, job connections, etc.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

There are really a lot but one that stands out the most to me is Amir Everett because he was a key part for us going 11-2 and he doesn’t get the recognition and credit he deserves for being a great player and I think he deserves it big time.
