Veil of the Soulstones Is Coming Out on Steam in 2026

The Hunt Is About to Start in the Veil of the Soulstones

The team behind Soulstone Survivors has announced its next project, Veil of the Soulstones, a new action experience planned for release on Steam in 2026. Designed as a real-time auto battler with a darker tone, the game invites players to venture into a dangerous world either solo or alongside friends. Here, survival depends on smart builds, teamwork, and constant adaptation. You can also check out the official announcement trailer right below.

Set within the mysterious Veil, the game focuses on hunting creatures that lurk in the shadows. Every enemy defeated drops weapons and armor, allowing players to grow stronger and experiment with powerful synergies. Exploration plays a central role, rewarding those who take risks. Players will move carefully through the darkness and coordinate with their team to overcome sudden threats.

Veil of the Soulstones blends several gameplay ideas into a cohesive experience that values curiosity and cooperation. Its systems are built to challenge even experienced players, offering depth through build crafting, progression, and moment-to-moment decision making. The atmosphere leans into tension and unpredictability, creating encounters that feel intense and often unsettling.

According to game director and Game Smithing founder Allan Smith, the cooperative nature of the game is one of its defining strengths. Playing with friends leads to unexpected moments, sudden ambushes, and frantic attempts to rescue each other, giving exploration a suspenseful edge.

Although Veil of the Soulstones differs greatly in tone and structure from Soulstone Survivors, it shares the same core philosophy. Fans can expect deep systems, large-scale combat, and the familiar pursuit of Soulstones, while newcomers will find a distinct and original adventure.
