Fresh reports linking unrest to Super Eagles of Nigeria camp after the AFCON clash against Mozambique have been played down, Soccernet.ng reports.

New details clarify both the Victor Osimhen–Ademola Lookman exchange and Akor Adams’ brief absence from the team hotel.

Contrary to widespread speculation, Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe insists the situation inside camp remains calm and fully under control.

Soccer Akor Adams never left camp permanently

Speculation surrounding Akor Adams’ “exit” from camp has been firmly dismissed.

The Sevilla forward did not leave the Super Eagles camp on a long-term basis. Per Efoghe, Adams briefly stepped out of the team hotel in Fez to see his parents, who are currently staying only a few minutes’ drive away.

He returned to camp in less than an hour, just before lunchtime, and remains fully integrated with the squad.

There is no disciplinary issue or fallout involving the striker.

Soccer Osimhen–Lookman exchange resolved internally

The on-field remonstration between Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman during Nigeria’s win over Mozambique also sparked heavy debate online, but the matter has been addressed internally.

According to sources within the camp, the primary reasons behind the exchange — and its aftermath — have been resolved swiftly among the players and coaching staff.

Officials have urged Super Eagles fans and media to ignore reports suggesting lingering tension or division within the squad.

Soccernet.ng understands that Osimhen and Lookman are understood to be on good terms, with a new post made by the Atalanta forward to clear the air.
