College Football Playoff: 2026 Rose Bowl Game Open Thread

The #1 Indiana Hoosiers (13-0) face the #9 Alabama Crimson Tide (11-3) in the CFP quarterfinals. The winner moves on to the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in the CFP semifinals on January 9th. This is the “Grandaddy of Them All” and should make for a great Rose Bowl Game.

I’ve always had a particular soft spot for the Rose Bowl, calling the area near the picturesque venue home. Few sights in sports are as consistently breathtaking as the sun setting behind the San Gabriel Mountains in the third quarter of the Rose Bowl Game. This matchup could be another classic.
