Singer Mayu Maeshima announced on Thursday that she has gotten married, revealing the news through a statement posted on her official website.

In her announcement, Maeshima explained that her spouse is a private individual outside the entertainment industry. Reflecting on the occasion, she wrote, “To be able to welcome a day like this with the person I dated for the first time in my life is only possible because of everyone who has supported and encouraged me as Mayu Maeshima until now. I am filled with gratitude.”

Looking ahead, she also shared her aspirations following the marriage. “So that I can express myself even more deeply and in a way that feels true to who I am, I want to continue refining my singing and cherish each day,” she said.
