An Oxfordshire council has issued a warning to residents about England flags being displayed.
Waalingford Town Council has told locals not to contact the town council about Union Flags being displayed around the town.
A statement from the council today (Thursday, December 11) said: “Residents are kindly advised not to contact Wallingford Town Council regarding the Union flags currently displayed around the town.

Locals have instead been directed to call Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) on 01865 792422 or South Oxfordshire District Council (SODC) on 01235 422422.
The Wallingford Town Council statement added: “These authorities are responsible for matters related to the flags.
