The Jump Super Stage for Sakamoto Days at Jump Festa 2026 announced a second season for the anime series on Saturday, revealing a teaser promo and teaser visual (pictured).
Produced by TMS Entertainment, the first anime season adapting Yuuto Suzuki‘s action comedy manga aired in split cours in Winter 2025 and Summer 2025. Netflix streamed the anime with multiple subtitles and an English dub.
Suzuki began drawing the manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in November 2020. Shueisha published the 25th volume on December 4. Sakamoto Days has a cumulative 15 million copies of its volumes in print.
VIZ Media licensed the manga for English release in July 2021 and published the 19th volume on November 11, with the 20th volume scheduled for a January 6 release. Shueisha began simulpublishing the manga in English on its Manga plus website in November 2020.
