ServiceTitan Marks Second Annual Day of the Trades, Spotlighting Contractors Powering Their Communities

This year’s featured projects highlight how contractors are leveraging their hands-on skills, business resources, and people to improve the lives of local families and organizations.

Make-A-Wish Support Driven by a Local Trades Team

True Pros, a residential HVAC and plumbing provider in Layton, Utah, partnered with ServiceTitan and Make-A-Wish Utah to support children facing critical illnesses. Their team recently helped grant a wish for Kyson, a nine-year-old boy with a brain tumor whose dream is to visit Disney World.

The project builds on True Pros’ ongoing commitment to donate a portion of every sale to Make-A-Wish—a mission inspired by owner Katy Higgins’ own family experience.

“My stepdaughter’s wish gave our family strength when we needed it most, and it inspired me to build a business grounded in giving back,” said Katy Higgins, Owner of True Pros. “Being able to create a Wish Proclamation experience for Kyson and his family is an honor, and we’re committed to making sure other families in our community feel supported during the hardest moments of their lives.”

HVAC Upgrade for a Local Animal Shelter

In Oklahoma City, residential and commercial HVAC contractor Above + Beyond partnered with ServiceTitan and the Oklahoma Humane Society to improve its HVAC system. The upgrade ensures that animals awaiting adoption—along with the staff and volunteers caring for them—stay safe and comfortable year-round.

“We were honored to help improve conditions for the animals and the people who care for them every day,” said Jason Brady, Owner and Managing Partner of Above + Beyond. “Community service is built into our business, and this project reflects our commitment to doing what’s right for both our four-legged and two-legged neighbors.”

Year-Round Industry Recognition and Support

Launched in 2024, Day of the Trades is part of ServiceTitan’s broader Power the Nation initiative, which uplifts the stories of tradespeople applying their expertise for community benefit. Through hands-on projects, resource donations, and workforce contributions, participating contractors help advance local causes and expand access to essential services.

This year, ServiceTitan is also debuting Future of the Trades, an online educational resource designed to inspire new talent and support career development. The site highlights earning potential in the trades and provides access to certifications, training pathways, and workforce development tools to help technicians and contractors build long-term careers.

ServiceTitan continues to honor the trades community for its generosity, craftsmanship, and commitment to service—on Day of the Trades and throughout the year.
