Leadership of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has disclosed the vision of the commission which revolves round enhancement of development of the region.
Speaking during a courtesy call on the Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, the Chairman of the Commission, Mr.Tsenyil Cyril reiterated that the commission was interested in the development of the region.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tersoo Kula revealed the Commission’s vision as “where infrastructure is modern, industries thrive, and citizens enjoy real opportunities.”
The leadership of the Commission, the statement continued assured of it’s desire to develop the region for the benefit of the people.
The spokesman of the Governor informed that the NCDC and the Governor reflected on the collective journey of the region under Mr President’s leadership.
The Governor Alia according to the statement, welcomed the leadership of NCDC and emphasized the “steady transformation taking place across Benue, viz, infrastructure development, especially, new roads that connect communities, agricultural programmes breathing life into rural economies, security of lives and properties and development efforts that restore confidence in government.
“What once felt like distant promises is now unfolding in practical ways: investments in security, support for farmers, empowerment programmes, and regional collaboration that strengthens every state in the zone.”
