Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are one of the most-established clubs in the Premier League and have lofty ambitions. Palace won the FA Cup last season and are playing in UEFA Conference League in the 2025-26 campaign.

Oliver Glasner’s side are doing well in the Premier League at the moment. The London club are fifth in the standings with 26 points from 16 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea. Palace, though, have not been great in the UEFA Conference League so far. The London outfit have picked up just nine points from five matches.

Crystal Palace will head into the UEFA Conference League game against KuPS at Selhurst Park in London on Thursday evening on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Manchester City at home in the Premier League. KuPS

Kuopion Palloseura, commonly referred to as KuPS, are a major club in Finland. KuPS have won seven Finnish championship titles, the Finnish Cup five times and the Finnish League Cup once.

The Canaries won the Veikkausliiga title in the 2025 season as well as in the 2024 campaign. KuPS, though, are not doing so well in the UEFA Conference League. They are currently 25th in the standings with six points from five games.

KuPS will head into the UEFA Conference League game against Crystal Palace this week on the back of a goalless draw with Lausanne-Sport in the same competition. It came after a 2-1 victory over Oulu in a club friendly, which followed a 1-0 win against Jagiellonia Białystok in the UEFA Conference League.

Team News:

KuPS are likely to line up in a 4-2-2-2 formation against Crystal Palace. Johannes Kreidl will be in goal and will have Bob Armah, Ibrahim Cisse, Samuli Miettinen and Clinton Antwi in front of him in defence. Doni Arifi and Jaakko Oksanen will be the two holding midfielders. Jerry Voutilainen and Otto Ruoppi will be the two wide players, with Mohamed Toure and Piotr Parzyszek the two centre-forwards.

Key Factors to Consider

  • Crystal Palace have scored 9 goals in the UEFA Conference League so far this season.
  • Crystal Palace have won 3 of their last 5 matches in all competitions.
  • Crystal Palace have lost 2 of their last 5 matches in all competitions.
  • KuPS have scored 4 goals in the UEFA Conference League so far this season.
