Someone in New Jersey has all the reasons to check their Mega Millions lottery ticket and hope that they won the Tuesday, December 2 drawing. A single ticket-holder now has the key to a $90 million prize purse that will be paid out by the lottery as soon as the person verifies their identity.
The lottery did not provide too many details about the win, other than to confirm the winning numbers as 17, 25, 26, 53, 60, and the Megaball – 16. The person who won will now have the opportunity to claim the winnings as either an annuity or a straight-up payout.
Most people go for the all-cash-now option, which, in the case of the $90 million, will amount to $41.9 million. This new win comes only several weeks after another person landed the $983 million in Georgia.
