Today has marked the release of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade demo for Xbox, and therefore we can finally see how the game stacks up on both the Series X and Series S!

As always, this early footage is coming from the YouTube channel Fuzion Xbox Testing, which has shown off both versions complete with some initial frame rate reports.

On Xbox Series X, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade appears to be running at a native 4K in “Graph” mode and around 1512p in “Performance” mode, while the visuals look to be on par with the PS5 release. The demo is only the first section of the game, but this footage reveals that it runs at a locked 30FPS and 60FPS respectively.

On Xbox Series S, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade seems to running at 1080p in both “Graph” and “Performance” modes, and although the visuals look softer and less detailed, they’re not disappointing by any means. The most important thing is that, again, it’s apparently running at a locked 30FPS and 60FPS.

There’s only so much we can take away from a demo like this, but the early signs are really good for Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (as we’d expect them to be). It’s definitely well worth checking out before the full release arrives in January, as your progress will carry over to the main game and there are also a couple of bonus items you can earn by playing it!

We’ll leave you with the two videos down below – one for Series X, one for Series S.
