Egypt vs Nigeria’s Super Eagles (Photos by Imago)
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Pharaohs of Egypt on Tuesday in their sole preparatory fixture ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Soccernet.ng reports.
Going into the AFCON, both teams have a significant point to prove, as Egypt have not won the competition since 2010, and Nigeria’s last victory was in 2013.
However, the game might not accurately reflect the true capabilities of either side due to the absence of several key players.

For Nigeria, it is unlikely that regulars like Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and a few others will be available to play.

Meanwhile, Egypt will also likely miss the services of one of their best players like Omar Marmoush and possibly Mohamed Salah. Still, it promises to be a spectacle.

The match is scheduled to be played at the 75,000-capacity Cairo International Stadium. Given the rivalry, fans are certain to turn up in large numbers.
Fans of the Super Eagles, the Pharaohs, and neutral viewers alike will be eager to watch the match. Kick-off is set for 7 PM Nigerian time.

However, as of the time of this report, confirmation that the game will be broadcast on television is unavailable. Practice matches of this nature are often not televised.
Despite this, there is provision for the game to be streamed online. Fans who want to stream the game can click here.
You can also catch the match here on Soccernet.ng, as there will be live commentaries for the game.
