Entertainment Terminator 2D: No Fate Gets Last-Minute Delay, Out On Xbox In Late November

Update []: We’ve unfortunately got news of a third delay for Terminator 2D: No Fate to bring your way, as it’s been announced that the release date has slipped from November 26th to December 12th, 2025.

This is due to a need to “assemble the physical editions” of the game, which has also affected the digital release. Here’s what the team had to say in a statement:

“The physical components for all editions have now finally arrived, following the ongoing delays that pushed us off our previous schedules. However, we now have to assemble the physical editions, which we need some time to do. Because of this, we are moving the launch date of Terminator 2D: NO FATE to December 12, 2025, for all physical and digital versions of the game.”

“We are sincerely sorry for the repeated delays. We don’t take your patience for granted, and we never want to disappoint our community. Our goal has always been to deliver the game that you deserve, and we’re almost there.”

It’s obviously disappointing to get another delay, but it’s not too long – only just over a month to go!

Original Story: Reef Entertainment has announced its second delay to Terminator 2D: No Fate; with this latest pushback coming a lot closer to the game’s previously-planned launch.

Terminator 2D: No Fate will now release on November 26th, rather than October 31st. When we first shared news of the game back in February, the game was supposed to be out in September.

The reason for these delays? Well, they’re nothing to do with the game’s quality, at least. The team says that these launch date pushbacks are “due to ongoing global trade and tariff changes that delayed shipment of the components for our Day One and Collector’s Editions”, with Reef Entertainment “committed to launching all editions together”.

This means that, unfortunately, the digital versions are also experiencing these delays, as the team isn’t willing to split launch dates between physical and digital releases. Fair play – all versions will now ship November 26.

If you’d like a deeper look at the title ahead of its new launch date, we’ll drop the team’s recent game overview trailer down below.

Still excited for this one despite another late delay? Talk to us about Terminator 2D: No Fate in the comments.
