The Super Eagles of Nigeria face Lesotho in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier today at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, Soccernet.ng reports.
With only two matches remaining in their Group C campaign, Nigeria are under immense pressure, knowing fully well that victories against Lesotho and Benin Republic are essential if they hope to secure a ticket to the World Cup.
A win in both games would lift the Super Eagles to 17 points and keep their qualification hopes alive.
Head coach Eric Chelle has called for focus, intensity, and aggressiveness. He has also warned his players to stay alert to avoid complacency.
