The Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 is a new and fast drone that is compatible with various goggles for a particularly immersive experience. That said, prospective buyers should make sure to obey their local laws and regulations when taking this kind of gadget to the sky.

Drones or quadcopters are readily available in many countries, for example from DJI and other notable brands. Models like the DJI Mini are essentially flying cameras that can be used to capture footage which previously could only be produced by helicopters, making it much less complex and expensive.

With that out of the way, a new FPV drone called the Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 is now available at Banggood for prices starting at $583 without or $610 with a GPS module. The usual pitfalls of direct imports apply, enforcing warranty rights might be difficult, for instance. Either way, this drone is specifically designed for direct control by using suitable goggles, such as the DJI Goggles 3 that can be found on Amazon. The maximum transmission range is 5 miles.

Additionally, the manufacturer claims a top speed of 118 miles per hour, which suggests the drone could also be suitable for racing. The Nazgul Evoque F5 V3 further has a flight time of up to 13 minutes, which would be rather short for a typical quadcopter used for aerial photography. Equipped with the DJI O4 Air Unit Pro, the drone significantly exceeds the usual 250-gram threshold with a take-off weight of around 736 grams, which has legal implications in many regions. Nevertheless, even lighter drones cannot be used everywhere.

The internal storage offers a capacity of 4GB, but an additional microSD can be inserted. The drone’s camera utilizes a 1/1.3-inch sensor and can record video at-Full HD resolution and 100 frames per second. Picture quality should be decent even in less than optimal lighting conditions.
