Tom Papa — described in an online preview as “one of the top comedic voices in the country” — brings his Grateful Bread Tour to the Casino Regina Show Lounge on Saturday night.

The Canadian actor/author/podcaster has starred in six stand-up specials, including 2024’s Home Free on Netflix, while appearing in films like Paper Spiders (alongside Lili Taylor), The Informant (Matt Damon), and Analyze That (Robert DeNiro). He also joined Damon and Michael Douglas in the 2013 HBO film Behind the Candelabra, directed by Steven Soderbergh, which won 11 Emmys.

3. Sask. Sports Hall of Fame

The Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame hosts a special event Saturday as part of this year’s inductions.

An open house takes place from noon to 4 p.m. while an autograph session is set for 1:30-2:30 p.m. The 2025 induction class includes athletes Julie Foster (rugby), Noah Miller (water polo), and Jon Ryan (football); builders Brad Hornung (hockey) and Klara Kesmarky Miller (gymnastics); and the 1997 and 1998 Regina Rams Football Club and the 1978 and 1980 Saskatoon Harmony Centre women’s softball team.
