Team Vitality has announced a long-term partnership with PSG Esports, the esports branch of French football club Paris Saint-Germain.

The collaboration between the two parties will focus on EA Sports FC, beginning with the 2025/26 FC Pro season. This notably includes Team Vitality’s EA Sports FC division being rebranded to PSG.Vitality.

As part of the deal, French FC Pro players Ilian Bouchi and Brice Masson, both of whom represented Team Vitality during the EA FC 25 esports season, will compete for the new team.

According to a release, PSG is ‘taking another significant step forward,’ as it continues expanding its presence within the esports industry. The French side was one of the first football clubs to embark on esports initiatives after creating its first esports franchise back in 2016.

Nearly a decade later, PSG remains one of the most active football clubs operating within esports. In July, the club returned to competing in League of Legends esports after renewing its deal with Asian esports organisation TALON.

Team Vitality has a rich history in competing in FIFA and EA Sports FC esports. Since 2015, it has competed across several international events, with Masson scoring a second-place finish at the FC Pro 25 World Championship.

Football Team Vitality’s Continued Growth

Joining forces with PSG is another chapter in Team Vitality’s continued growth throughout 2025. In July, the organisation secured a seven-figure deal with online casino and sportsbook platform Stake in addition to expanding into the Asian market through the acquisition of Bigetron Esports.

The newly-formed PSG.Vitality players will begin their EA FC 26 campaigns by qualifying for the first FC Pro Open event of the season.

Players who reach Division 4 in EA FC 26’s Ultimate Team Rivals mode will earn a place at the regional qualifiers, with the top 48 advancing to the first Global Qualifier.

The first FC Pro Open Global Qualifier will take place as part of DreamHack Atlanta from October 31st to November 2nd.
