Bitcoin (BTC) hovered near $115,000 on Tuesday as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s rate cut decision.

Altcoins, led by Ethereum (ETH), demonstrated resilience, contributing to the upbeat tone across the market.

Steady inflows into BTC and ETH ETFs have helped sustain momentum, reinforcing the broader bullish sentiment.

Amid the optimism, traders are now turning their focus to Pudgy Pandas, the meme coin that has rapidly become the centrepiece of community hype.

Market chatter around Pudgy Pandas is brimming with FOMO, as early backers believe the coin could ride the current enthusiasm in both Bitcoin and altcoins to deliver outsized gains.

Bitcoins ETH’s strong performance suggests altseason might be near

Digital asset treasuries (DATs) — publicly traded companies that hold a majority of cryptocurrency on their balance sheets — with a focus on Ethereum, may have stronger prospects compared to those centred on Bitcoin or Solana, according to Standard Chartered.

In a note published on Monday, Geoffrey Kendrick, the bank’s global head of digital asset research, said that investors are concerned about the compression of DATs’ stock prices and market-to-net asset values (mNAVs), which directly impacts their ability to raise capital and expand crypto holdings.

The mNAV compares a company’s market capitalisation against the value of its assets, with a reading above 1 suggesting a premium and market confidence.

“This matters because sustainable DATs need an mNAV above 1 if they are to continue buying underlying assets,” Kendrick wrote.

He added that the long-term performance of DATs will depend on factors such as access to low-cost funding, size, and whether their underlying assets can generate yield.

Over the past year, alongside institutional flows into exchange-traded funds (ETFs), DATs have been a key driver of movements in Bitcoin and Ethereum prices.

Kendrick noted that Bitcoin-focused DATs may face lower mNAVs over time due to saturation and potential consolidation, which could limit fresh demand.

By contrast, Ethereum and Solana-focused DATs could see stronger performance given their ability to generate yield through staking.

“We think ETH and SOL DATs should be assigned higher mNAVs than BTC DATs due to staking yield,” he said.

The outlook suggested by Standard Chartered adds weight to the view that alternative cryptocurrencies beyond Bitcoin could gain greater traction.

If Ethereum and Solana DATs attract higher valuations thanks to staking yields and stronger capital-raising potential, it could support momentum in altcoins more broadly — a development often associated with the onset of an altseason.

Bitcoins The presale to watch as altseason gains buzz

PANDA isn’t just another meme coin. It’s a cultural movement built on scarcity, activism, and powerful deflationary mechanics.

There are only 1,864 pandas in the wild — a number so small it barely registers compared to penguins, which are everywhere.

Penguins may have had their moment, but pandas are rarer, more soulful, and designed to outlast.

Where most meme coins thrive on hype and noise, Pudgy Pandas backs its story with real utility and mission-driven mechanics.

Every birth burn, every locked conservation tranche, every capped supply compounds the scarcity narrative, ensuring long-term staying power.

The presale math tells its own story. Stage 1 (15–18 Sep) opened at $0.021000.

By Stage 11 (15–18 Oct), the price climbs to $0.060545 — an 11-step ladder that ratchets higher every three days.

Wait too long, and you’ll simply pay more for the same scarce supply.

That’s why early adopters don’t just lock in bragging rights — they capture the steepest discounts.

And the market is already responding: in just one day, the presale has surged past $350,000 raised.
