Seven Indian B-schools in the world’s top 100 MBA programmes

Indian School of Business ranks among the top 10 of the list. Check out the others.

LinkedIN, an online platform for professional networks, released the list of the world’s top 100 MBA programmes on Sep 15. At least seven Indian B-schools featured in the list. All of them in the top 50. “The ranking is entirely based on real outcomes of alumni from these programs, looking at metrics like how graduates land jobs post-MBA, move up the corporate ladder and build strong professional networks,” senior managing editor Ashley Botarelli wrote in a post. Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta was ranked at no.16. Programme fee for the academic year 2025-26 was ₹33.5 lakh. It’s been ranked in the top five for networking opportunities. Most common job titles: Product Manager, Business Analyst, Management Analyst | Most notable skills: Product Road Mapping, Growth Strategies, Product Vision.

For management institutions, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has maintained its lead, with IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode following. Notably, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi and XLRI - Xavier School of Management also secured spots in the top ten for management courses.

Established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry to contribute in the skill building for the external trade sector of India. The Institute was granted “Deemed to be University” status in 2002. Tuition fees: ₹21.8 lakh for a two-year course.
