American Pie star Seann William Scott's divorce drama heats up: Ex-Wife Olivia Korenberg accuses him of unfair eviction

American Pie star Seann William Scott has been in the news during his ongoing divorce struggle with ex-wife Olivia Korenberg. Four years together, Seann filed for divorce back in February 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. The actor also requested joint legal and physical custody of their five-year-old daughter, Frankie. The couple had a prenup addressing spousal support, attorney fees, assets, and debts, according to court documents. While Seann maintained that his pre-marriage and post-marriage earnings are his own, he made it clear that the jewelry they shared was both their property. Although the two had peacefully agreed to co-parent, the situation became tense when Seann allegedly requested Olivia vacate their shared home on short notice, prompting her to dispute the same in court.

Seann William Scott and Olivia’s custody agreement and the new relationship clause

As part of their divorce agreement, Seann and Olivia committed to co-parenting their daughter Frankie together to the point where she would not spend more than three consecutive days without one of them. The ex-partners also vowed to present each other with any future partners, and for Frankie to be allowed quality time with them if it lasted over 48 hours. Olivia stated that once she had made Seann aware of her intention to introduce Frankie to her new partner. He sent her an email 25 days later, requesting that she move out of the Malibu-area home by May 2025 because he was planning on selling it. Olivia claimed in court that the home was bought for her and Frankie’s protection, and she was not able to pay for other housing in Malibu, particularly following several evacuations due to wildfires.

What were Olivia’s accusations and Seann’s defense?

In court documents, Olivia accused Seann of retaliatory behavior and pointed to his high income, which has been stated at around $148,000 a month, indicating the $6,000 monthly child support should be given. She also stated that she had renovated and improved the property. Seann, however, refuted these claims in a tearful letter to the court. He stated that the property was always an investment and never meant to be Olivia’s permanent home. He did confess to buying the property to have Olivia and Frankie close by during preschool, but stated that he had let Olivia know it was a temporary situation. He insisted that his selling decision was made with the help of financial counseling and had nothing to do with Olivia’s new romantic affair.
