The U.S. men’s national team’s November schedule is set.
Uruguay and Paraguay will oppose the Americans in a two-match window this November, U.S. Soccer announced. Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania will host the USMNT-Paraguay match on November 15 before Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida hosts USMNT-Uruguay on Nov. 18.
Both Uruguay and Paraguay have clinched spots for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“The matches against two strong South American opponents are a great opportunity for our players to be challenged against the types of teams we may see in the World Cup,” Pochettino said. “As we continue to develop our group, we are looking forward to the amazing support of our fans as the excitement builds for next summer.”
It will mark the USMNT’s first match against Paraguay since a 1-0 Americans win on 2018. It is also the second meeting between the two countries in Philadelphia.
Uruguay defeated the USMNT 1-0 back in Copa America group stage play in 2024. The result eliminated the Americans from the tournament and was also Gregg Berhalter’s final match in charge of the program.
