Viral Lagos corper who blasted Nigerian government says NYSC denied her certificate after completing one-year service

Earlier this year, Corper Raye made headlines after a video of her boldly calling out the Nigerian government during her Passing Out Parade went viral on social media.

Now, in a fresh update, she has revealed that despite completing her full one-year service, she never received her NYSC certificate.

According to Raye, officials claimed she didn’t clear herself for April on her scheduled date. However, she insists she was present but was repeatedly told to “go to the back” by the Local Government Inspector (LGI). Eventually, the official refused to clear her, seized her file, and ordered her to leave.

The frustrated ex-corper described the experience as a waste of her time and expressed deep anger at the injustice, saying she already knows how the “final verdict” will end. She added that she’s choosing to close this chapter of her life and move on.
