There have been speculations that Samuel Chukwueze will leave AC Milan this summer, as he has struggled to make an impact at the club…

Italian Serie A club AC Milan have identified Brazilian sensation Rayan as a potential replacement for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze, Soccernet.ng reports.

Chukwueze’s future has been in the balance in recent months due to his lack of game time at AC Milan.

Last season, the 26-year-old winger registered five goals and two assists in 29 appearances, most of which were off the bench.

But due to his struggles and lack of minute there have been talks that AC Milan are looking to sell him off this summer. There were even speculations that new coach Massimiliano Allegri did not want him on the team.

However, the Super Eagles star has actually seen a lot of minutes under Allegri. He featured prominently in pre-season and even scored a goal against Perth Glory.

Chukwueze has been linked with Fulham this summer, but the Premier League club is yet to table a bid.

In fact, it is unclear whether any club plans to swoop in for him before the summer transfer window closes.

The Rossoneri are making moves to ensure that Chukwueze’s possible exit does not create a void in their attack.

According to Football Italia, AC Milan have identified Vasco Da Gama winger Rayan as a likely alternative to Chukwueze.

The 19-year-old winger is one of the highly-rated players in Brazil, and AC Milan believe he would be a great fit for their team.

Rayan is valued at €14 million on Transfermarkt, which is an affordable fee for AC MIlan.
