“This has been an exciting year for Now Fresh innovations and we are thrilled to be introducing our latest recipes at SUPERZOO,” says Theresa Lantz, Nutrition Manager at Petcurean. “Our Now Fresh Good Gravy recipes have been a huge hit with both pets and pet parents who are looking for variety and flavour, while keeping the convenience of kibble. Good Gravy offers a fresh take on dry food, with a healthy and versatile kibble that can be fed dry or mixed with water to create a hydrating bone broth gravy. With sales of the initial recipes quickly exceeding our expectations, we are building off this momentum and expanding the collection with new recipes for dogs and cats.”

Now Fresh Good Gravy is the only kibble product on the market made with 100 per cent fresh meat and a bone broth coating made with all natural ingredients, which becomes a rich, delicious, and hydrating gravy when mixed with water. The new recipes for adult cats come on the heels of the success of Now Fresh Good Gravy recipes for dogs, which was recently named the 2025 Dog Bone Broth Product of the Year by the Pet Innovation Awards. Petcurean introduced the initial chicken and salmon recipes for all breed and small breed adult dogs in late-2024. The recipes for cats will be grain-free and are available in chicken or salmon flavours, and will be sold in 3lb and 8lb recyclable bags ranging from $21.99-$46.99 USD.

Article content

The Now Fresh Good Gravy line extension also includes new beef recipes with grains for adult and senior dogs, the portfolio’s first recipe tailored to support the healthy weight and joints of senior dogs. Featuring de-boned grass-fed beef as the first ingredient, these recipes include fibre from ancient grains to support healthy digestion, omega-3s from flaxseed to support a healthy skin and shiny coat, L-carnitine for healthy heart support and fat metabolization, and added glucosamine & chondroitin-rich New Zealand green mussels in the senior recipe for joint support. The beef recipes for dogs will be available in 3.5lb and 22lb recyclable bags and will be priced from $21.99-$92.99 USD.

The new Now Fresh Good Gravy recipes will start shipping in late August, hitting e-commerce and pet specialty store shelves in the US and Canada in fall 2025.

Petcurean also recently launched a collection of Now Fresh wet food recipes for dogs and cats in single-serve pouches, which can be fed as a standalone meal or a dry food topper for added moisture and flavour:
