JD Vance could become President of the United States before the end of 2025 amid Trump’s ongoing health and scandal woes, a political commentator claims

Speculation is rife that JD Vance could ascend to the US presidency by the end of 2025, amid a “very drastic” situation involving Donald Trump six months into his second term. Political pundit Josh Greene has hinted that the 40 year old Vice President may be poised to take over from Donald Trump for two principal reasons.
“Now why am I saying this?” he queried his TikTok followers in a recent upload. “Well, between Donald Trump‘s Epstein file scandal and his recent health diagnosis – he know as a chronic vein condition, which is causing swelling in his hands and ankles – this is a very drastic situation.”
Moreover, the Wall Street Journal has recently divulged that Trump sent a “creepy” 50th birthday card to the now-disgraced financier Epstein, purportedly inscribing, “may every day be another wonderful secret” alongside an image of a nude woman.
However, Trump has dismissed this allegation and countered on his social media outlet Truth Social – but this has done little to silence the calls for him to step down from his post, reports The Mirror US.
The health of the President has also been under scrutiny recently. On Thursday (July 17), it was disclosed by the White House that the 79 year old had a “comprehensive exam” and was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI).
Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, described it as a benign condition common in those over 70. This revelation followed Trump’s struggle to fit his swollen foot into shoes due to this health issue.
In his video, Greene speculated on political developments, suggesting: “It’s time for Project 2025’s next phase to kick into gear where [investor and entrepreneur] Peter Thiel’s man, JD Vance can take over after Trump resigns before the end of the year.”
He added: “This is just the beginning for their plan. This is all purely speculation, but there are signs to suggest Donald Trump will not be able to finish his term – both because of his popularity, which is plummeting and his health is not in good shape.”

However, Greene expressed doubts about JD Vance’s potential leadership, musing: “Do I think JD Vance is going to do a better job than Donald Trump? Absolutely not – I think he is going to be even more beholden to tech oligarchs who will really be controlling his every move. But we’ll see what happens.”
One TikTok user, reacting to a political theory, predicted: “This is good for Democrats, it ensures Republicans will lose the Presidency in 2028 (if there are still elections of course). Vance has the charisma of a bag of rocks. MAGA will not ride for him like they do Trump.”
Another voiced their apprehension, stating: “We’re in deeper trouble should that happen. JD Vance is just Trump with a fresher face and newer batteries.”
A third individual expressed alarm, exclaiming: “God help us. He is worse than Trump.”
Meanwhile, a fourth person lamented: “Oh no and JD Vance might do two more years. I did not want to hear that. But is very true what a nightmare from hell.”
Despite the criticism, some TikTok users remain loyal to Trump, with one commenting: “President Trump is fine and we hope he stays for a third term.”
Another staunch supporter asserted: “There is no bright future without President Trump.”
