Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a man who exposed himself to a young child at a business south of Saskatoon.

In a news release, RCMP said they received a report of a sexual offence at a “business property” off Highway 762 around 12:30 p.m. on May 9.

Several businesses line the highway, known as Valley Road.

“Investigation determined an adult male lured a child, who was under the age of six, to an isolated area of the business property,” according to the release sent out on Monday.

RCMP say the child didn’t know the man, who was caught by the child’s family before running into a treed area.

The man is described as approximately six feet tall with a medium build, light complexion, medium-length curly blond hair and gaps between his teeth.

He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, grey “mirrored” sunglasses, a blue shirt, jeans and black shoes.

Police ask anyone who saw suspicious activity at the business, or anyone who recognizes the RCMP’s forensic sketch of the suspect, to call the Warman detachment at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-2222-8477.

Police say for privacy reasons, they aren’t releasing any other details about the child, who they say wasn’t physically hurt.
