Cristiano Ronaldo was on target for Portugal as they defeated Germany 2-1 to seal their place in the final of the UEFA Nations League.
The 40-year-old tapped in Nuno Mendes’ low pass in the 68th minute for what proved to be the winner.
It was Ronaldo’s 137th international goal and the effort set up a final against either France or Spain.

Florian Wirtz had scored the opener for the hosts in the 48th minute before Francisco Conceicao equalised on 63 minutes and Ronaldo seals it five minted later.
Portugal won the first tournament in 2019, and are looking to seal a second success this term.
France and Spain play the second semi-final in Stuttgart on Thursday, with the final in Munich on Sunday.
