RIP Malcolm Booysen | 14-year-old Brakpan car accident victim laid to rest

BRAKPAN, JOHANNESBURG – Fourteen-year-old Malcolm Booysens, who was crushed by a car driven by a 12-year-old boy, was laid to rest in Brakpan, on the East Rand.

Families, friends and the boy’s school mates came out to pay their last respects on Friday.

The young driver has already appeared in court, facing charges of culpable homicide and driving without a license.

Authorities are urging parents to be vigilant following this unfortunate accident that claimed the life of the young boy.

eNCA reporter Naomi Kobbie spoke to Malcom’s aunt who said this accident could have been prevented.
