Who Is Courtney Vandersloot’s Wife? All About Chicago Sky Star’s Current Relationship Status

When you hear the name Courtney Vandersloot, images of smart court vision and laser‑sharp passes probably spring to mind. But what about the person who’s been cheering her on and sometimes even catching those passes? Well, the beloved “VanderQuigs,” once made history as the first married couple to win a professional sports championship together. So, it is only fair we learn more about Vandersloot’s better half.

Who Is Courtney Vandersloot’s Wife, Allie Quigley?

Alexandria Quigley is also fondly known as “Allie” by her family, friends, and teammates. She was born on June 20, 1986, in the city of Joliet in Illinois. Quigley stated in one of her earliest interviews that her late father was instrumental in igniting a love for the sport in her little self when she was just seven years old. The 2005 CUSA Freshman of the Year progressed to DePaul University in 2004 and was instrumental in propelling her team to the NCAA Division I championships. Thanks to Quigley, the Blue Demons team qualified every year during her four-year stint with the program.

Unfortunately, Quigley had a wobbly start in the WNBA. While the 22nd overall pick was drafted by the Seattle Storm during the 2008 draft, she was waived before the season began. And while things looked positive for the free agent on being signed under the Phoenix Mercury, she spent most of the time on the bench before being waived mid-season in 2009.

After that, the young player showed flashes of her brilliance under the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Fever, Lady luck favoured the athlete in 2013 when she joined the Chicago Sky. Not only did she receive the right kind of attention for her skills, but she also found a love interest and future partner in Courtney Vandersloot.

But the two athletes began talking after the tournament. Coincidentally, they ended up on the same flight to Chicago. While Allie was headed to the US city for her debut season with the Chicago Sky, Vandersloot, who had been playing with the team since 2011, was also looking to attend the 2013 training camp.

Their relationship started developing after the 2013 WNBA season, and the couple started dating in late September of the same year. Moreover, the two tied the knot in 2018 and had their first child, a daughter named Jana Christine Vandersloot Quigley, on April 08, 2025.

What does Allie Quigley do for a living?
