Will Ademola Lookman leave Atalanta? La Dea make transfer decision that confirms Super Eagles star’s future

Soccer

There have been a lot of talks that Super Eagles forward Ademola Lookman will leave Atalanta this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

The speculations did not just start this year though, as he was linked to some top European clubs last summer, but La Dea held on to him even though he expressed his desire to leave.

Now, with one year left on his contract, it seems set in stone that the 27-year-old left-winger will leave Bergamo, even as transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported it midway through last season.

Understand plan remains for Ademola Lookman to LEAVE Atalanta this summer.

Atalanta will try to clarify the situation with Gasperini in the next 24h after strong quotes… but won’t change future plans.

If there were doubts that Lookman would leave Atalanta, the club have now made a transfer move that confirms that the Super Eagles star will cut ties with them this summer.

According to Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, La Dea are set to seal the signing of Ghanaian left-winger Sulemana Kamaldeen from Southampton. The 23-year-old diminutive winger is quick and tricky, and is always a handful for defenders.

Although Kamaldeen is not a top player yet, it is La Dea’s standard mode of operation, as they go for raw gems, polish them, and sell them for profits eventually.

Atalanta will pay €21 million for Kamaldeen, which is a lot of money for the club. This ultimately means that they expect him to play an important role for the club next season, hence the belief that Lookman will leave.

Soccer Which club will Ademola Lookman join?

At the moment, it is really difficult to decipher Lookman’s next move. He has been linked with a lot of clubs already.

Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona, Napoli, and Juventus are potential options. However, Barcelona and Liverpool can be struck off. The Reds have Luis Diaz there, and it is clear that he is not leaving this summer.

Also, Barcelona are pushing hard to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao.

Meanwhile, Napoli look seriously interested in Lookman. If they meet his €60 million-valuation, the Super Eagles star will likely dump Bergamo for Naples.
