Throughout his career, Mr. Azad has been actively involved with the Health Care Information and Management Systems Society, reflecting his commitment to advancing health care through technology. Also a prolific writer, he has been recognized through citations of his published articles on topics such as preventive health programs, predictive modeling, and succeeding in competitive job markets. His growing reputation was further enhanced in 2024 when he was invited to be a speaker at the Central Illinois chapter of the American College of Health Care Executives.

Academically, Mr. Azad holds a Master of Science in technology with a focus on project management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in business analytics, both from Illinois State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Independent University, Bangladesh, in 2017. In addition to his degrees, he has obtained several certifications to further his expertise, including the Scrum Master Accredited Certification from the International Scrum Institute in 2022 and the Advanced Google Analytics certificate from Google in 2020.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Azad is known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen. He served as the treasurer for the Bangladesh Student Association at Illinois State University from 2019 to 2021 and volunteered with the JAAGO Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing education and development opportunities for underserved children and communities. His academic excellence was recognized through various awards, including being a finalist in the Intra IUB FinWhizz’16 Competition and making the dean’s list at Independent University, Bangladesh in 2013.
