Spanish LaLiga club Real Betis could try to sign one Super Eagles forward this summer as they look to get some reinforcements ahead of next season, Soccernet.ng reports.

Betis are coming off their best campaign in a long time, as they finished 6th in the LaLiga and reached the final of the UEFA Conference League.

A key part of their campaign was Manchester United winger Antony, who joined them in January. The Brazilian contributed nine goals and five assists in 26 appearances.

Real Betis are now looking at options, and a Super Eagles winger is on their shortlist.

Soccer Who is the Super Eagles star that Real Betis are eyeing?

According to Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Real Betis are keeping tabs on Super Eagles star Samuel Chukwueze.

The 26-year-old winger has been in AC Milan for the best two years after joining from Villarreal for €21.1 million. However, he has struggled badly, registering eight goals and eight six in 69 appearances.

Last season was the worst for him, as he only featured in 36 games all season, most of which were off the bench.

Due to Chukwueze’s struggles, there have been speculations that he will leave the Rossoneri this summer.

His value has dropped to €14 million, and that gives potential suitors a perfect opportunity to pounce.

Real Betis do not have the financial muscle of the big clubs in Europe and are used to signing player for small money. And while €14 million is a lot of money money for them, it is a deal that they should be able to pull off.

Meanwhile, there have been talks that Villarreal could try to get Chukwueze. That would be a good deal for both parties, as Chukwueze was one of their best players the season before he departed for AC Milan.

That season, he was almost unplayable. He even scored a brace against Real Madrid, in what was one of his best-ever performances.
