Spanish LaLiga club Getafe are willing to reduce their valuation of Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche, amid interest from English Premier League clubs Leeds United and Brentford, Soccernet.ng reports.
Uche has continued to draw attention from Premier League clubs following his series of impressive performances for Getafe.
He has enjoyed a great top flight league debut season, contributing four goals and five assists in 33 appearances.
Even since the first half of the season, Uche had already been linked to clubs like Chelsea and West Ham, but nothing serious happened
But this summer, Uche could leave Getafe is one of teams pays his €25 million release clause. Chelsea and Newcastle have been linked with him recently.
But now, reports from Sp Getafe indicate that Brentford and newly-promoted Leeds are also interested in Uche. And although Uche has a €25 million release clause, Sp Getafe reports that Getafe are willing to reduce their asking price.
Getafe may be willing to accept around €20 million for Uche, and it would still be great business for them. Recall that they paid Ceuta just €500k for his services last year.
Soccer Christantus Uche could stay in Spain, but not Getafe
Aside from the English Premier League that are interested in getting Christantus Uche’s services, former LaLiga champions Atletico Madrid could throw their hat into the ring.
Los Colchoneros desperately need to get some midfield reinforcements, as most of their regulars are on the other side of 30 or have dropped in performance.
Uche fits Atletico Madrid’s bill due to his talent and his relative cheap fee. For a player who has played in Spain since moving to Europe, Uche old even favour a move to Atleti.
