A planning application for a new health centre in Didcot has been approved.
The site on the Great Western Park estate was committed by developer Taylor Wimpey, and has been transferred to Vale of White Horse District Council.
The 3,300-home estate is due to be finished in 2026 and was initially granted planning permission in 2008, with a surgery included.
The Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board is in charge of delivering primary health care for the area.

An updated planning application, which outlined the details of the centre and how it will serve the local community, was submitted to the district council in February and approved on Wednesday, April 2.
This revised proposal addressed concerns from the initial application, and highlighted the sustainability measures to be implemented, such as the use of low-energy LEDs.
It features updated design information set out in a detailed design statement.
This statement explains the design concept and principles that have been developed and incorporated into the proposed building, such as setting out landscaping, as well as parking arrangement.
Vale of White Horse District Council said all parties are now working together to progress the next steps.
