Giants’ Russell Wilson Confirms Ciara’s Future Plans as Mom of 5 Kids While Sweet Message to Wife

Football

You’d think signing with a new NFL team would take all of Russell Wilson’s focus. But nope—his game plan seems to include a full-on campaign to expand the Wilson family roster, too. While the football world adjusts to Wilson in blue, he’s been busy making waves off the field with some pretty cheeky posts. And once again, it involves his favorite partner in crime—Ciara Wilson.

Now, before you hit the “Wait, are they pregnant again?” button—slow down. The couple welcomed baby Amora in December 2023, their third child together and fourth overall. But if you’ve followed Wilson’s playful antics lately, you’ll know he’s not-so-subtly pitching for baby number five. This isn’t a new thing either—he’s been calling their hypothetical next child “Cinco” for months. And he just turned that inside joke into another viral moment.

In a new Instagram story, Russell Wilson reposted a reel from @bowerymama that showed a mom jokingly dancing under the caption: “If you’re a mom in desperate need of a vacation, don’t forget you have an island.” Classic mom humor—but Russell Wilson saw it as the perfect setup. Tagging Ciara, he added: “Once Cinco happens! ???????????? ???????????? girl.” Fans quickly caught the joke. ‘Cinco,’ of course, is the nickname Wilson has given to the potential fifth addition to their family. And this isn’t just a random inside joke—he’s been dropping hints about baby #5 on and off since before Amora was born.

Previously, during a red-carpet event, Wilson had publicly turned to Ciara and said, “Can we have more babies?” to which Ciara laughed and told the interviewer, “Take my husband’s phone” to stop his baby number five requests. She wasn’t kidding. In a February appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Ciara admitted, “He’s always trying to ask for more. I’m like, give me a second! Let me figure out life, let me figure out my body.” The singer made it clear she was still adjusting to life with four kids—and recovering postpartum—when her husband started pitching the idea of expanding their family again.

Still, Wilson’s persistent campaigning (in the most playful way) hasn’t slowed down. That intentionality seems to be what fans admire most. Not just as a proud father but as a devoted husband, Russell sees Ciara as his partner through every step.

Football From ‘Cinco’ to Ciara: Russell Wilson proves it’s more than just baby fever

Just hours after the Cinco story, Wilson made sure to balance the laughs with some love. He reposted a reel from @sametgorgozfilms showing Ciara at a recent event wearing a stunning peach gown and diamond necklace. His caption? “No one like you. Mrs Wilson”. Simple. Direct. And kind of perfect. Moments like these aren’t rare for the couple, who’ve consistently shown public support for each other’s ventures.

Despite having four children at home, Ciara still dazzled on the carpet, earning praise for both her look and dedication. Meanwhile, Wilson has been adjusting to his new chapter with the New York Giants. Through all of it, Ciara’s been by his side—often quite literally. Whether it’s traveling with him during the off-season or juggling their family schedule, the two appear to keep each other grounded, even when their lives get hectic.

Also, Russell shared a heartfelt Instagram post that gave fans a rare glimpse into the world he and Ciara have built together. The post featured a beautiful photo of Ciara surrounded by their four kids, paired with a video montage of family memories that captured laughter, milestones, and quiet moments alike. His caption, “My reason for EVERYTHING,” tagged Ciara and left no doubt about where his priorities lie. It’s a simple yet powerful reminder of how deeply Russell cherishes his family together.

Even when Wilson’s out here cracking jokes about “Cinco” and flooding his Instagram with family memes, it’s clear he’s building more than just laughs—he’s investing in a legacy. As for baby number five? Time will tell. But judging by Russell’s energy, the pitch isn’t going anywhere. Whether it’s another child or just another reason to celebrate their journey, the Wilsons are making sure to do it all with love, laughter, and a whole lot of style.
