Look man, college is hard. Believe me, as someone who somehow managed to get two degrees, one of them from Northwestern University, I know. College classes throw a lot at you and if you have a lot going on outside of school it’ll reflect in your grades.
With that being said, I would probably want to reconsider this post if I were SMU’s social media team. In hopes of hyping up their student athletes off the field, they unfortunately turned themselves into a meme that’ll get used for the rest of time.
Man … why would they post this?
Again, I’m not trying to rag on their players, because college is really hard. But putting that a 2.95 is the highest average GPA over a full semester in program history? What do they be doing over at SMU? This is going to be meme’d straight into oblivion because what in the world is this?
However, this isn’t even the worst one to come from the state of Texas! In 2019, Texas posted their highest average GPA in program history, with a strong 2.89.
Something is going on in the state of Texas, and I’m not sure if anyone really knows what. All I know is that we need to bring the tutors back in the room, or something.
