PFF names Saints top three players entering the 2025 season

As we get closer to training camp and the start of the 2025 season, sports analysts start to evaluate and rank team rosters and breakdown player and position groups.

Trevor Sikkema with Pro Football Focus has just released his list of the top three players on each NFL team entering the 2025 season. Here are his thoughts on the three New Orleans Saints who are the best upon the best.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Davis continues to defy age, as he has recorded a run-defense grade above 78.0 in six of the last seven seasons, including four seasons after turning 30. McCoy managed just 293 snaps in 2024 but earned a dominant 94.4 overall blocking grade during that span. Olave, though limited by injuries and concussions, remains one of the team’s most talented players moving forward.
